May both of you celebrate many more.
I am sitting here eating a chocolate bar that I am pretty sure I got at OVFF. As for why I am eating it now, well, it got mixed in with the extra Halloween candy, and that takes a while to go through. It's a Nestle Smarties bar, which appears to be milk chocolate with tiny M&M-like candies in it. Seems redundant.
So why do I think it came from OVFF? Well, there is a sticker on it, which reads:
|March 31 - April 2, 2006|
I can't reproduce the little maple leaf inside the middle O of KON, but you get the idea. It's from Canada, anyway; it's labeled in both French and English. Now, what is wrong with this picture?
I host FilKONtario.Ca. Note that the domain is "Ca" for "Canada," not "Com" for "Commercial." And checking, just to be sure, I find the domain filkontario.com is not even registered.
So now, my question: who perpetrated this? I'm sure it wasn't jhayman, because I asked her. This may not have been done by a member of the FKO comcomm, nor even by a Canadian. Was it a prank, or a promotion gone wrong? Inquiring minds want to know.
And by the way, thanks for the chocolate.
